Who founded ConstruMarket and when?
ConstruMarket was founded in 1991 by engineer Roberto Simán, modestly in a house on calle Lorena in San Salvador, El Salvador. It emerged to solve the supply shortages and logistics bottlenecks he faced himself as a builder.
Which countries does ConstruMarket operate in?
We operate in El Salvador (since 1991), Guatemala (1997), Nicaragua (1998) and Panama (2011), with a local sales team and support in each country. Honduras is served directly and centrally from El Salvador, and we have a presence in the United States through Douglas Equipment in Miami, Florida, acquired in 2025.

Yes. Light and heavy machinery rental is handled through RentaCentro, the group's rental division, with its own fleet and maintenance included.
