Frequently asked questions
What people ask us most
Clear answers about the group, its coverage and how to work with us.
What is Grupo ConstruMarket?
Grupo ConstruMarket is a leading corporation in Central America founded in 1991 in San Salvador by engineer Roberto Simán. With over 30 years of experience, it specializes in construction machinery, industrial equipment, architectural solutions and furniture — with sales, genuine parts, technical service and equipment rental.
Who founded ConstruMarket and when?
ConstruMarket was founded in 1991 by engineer Roberto Simán, modestly in a house on calle Lorena in San Salvador, El Salvador. It emerged to solve the supply shortages and logistics bottlenecks he faced himself as a builder.
Which countries does ConstruMarket operate in?
We operate in El Salvador (since 1991), Guatemala (1997), Nicaragua (1998) and Panama (2011), with a local sales team and support in each country. Honduras is served directly and centrally from El Salvador, and we have a presence in the United States through Douglas Equipment in Miami, Florida, acquired in 2025.
Does ConstruMarket serve mining projects?
Yes. Large-scale transnational mining in Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama is a strategic focus of the group: we distribute Komatsu heavy machinery with technical support and parts for high-demand environments operating 24/7.
Which machinery brands does it distribute?
We distribute world-leading brands such as Komatsu, Doosan Bobcat, BOMAG, Wacker Neuson, SIMAQ, Hunter Douglas, Goodyear, D'Avino and Turbosol, among 18 officially represented brands.
Do you offer genuine parts and technical service?
Yes. We carry genuine parts for all our brands, certified workshops with specialized technicians, and preventive and corrective maintenance programs — in our shop or at your jobsite.
Can you rent equipment?
Yes. Light and heavy machinery rental is handled through RentaCentro, the group's rental division, with its own fleet and maintenance included.
How do I request a quote?
You can request a quote through the online form or via WhatsApp with your country's team. We reply during business hours.
