Which attachment fits your Bobcat?
Short answer
Bobcat's compatibility chart decides, not flow alone. The HB980 breaker needs 40–75 L/min: it fits the S450 (63.2 L/min) and also the S770, which delivers 87.1, because Bobcat approves it. If the attachment runs on high flow, the machine has to offer it: the LT414 trencher needs 98–151 L/min and the smallest machine that runs it is the S550 with high flow (101.1 L/min). The 716 kg DB-96 dozer blade doesn't fit the S450: the smallest approved is the S630. And if you lift something, attachment + load can't exceed the rated capacity.
The rule it applies
- Bobcat's official compatibility chart rules: one X per model. No X, no fit.
- If the attachment runs on high flow, the machine has to offer it on its Latin American spec sheet ('Flujo alto hidráulico (opcional)'), and is ordered with it.
- Flow explains, it doesn't decide: Bobcat approves attachments above their flow range (the HB980 on the S770) and not others that fit it (that's why there's a chart).
- If you lift something: attachment weight + load ≤ the spec sheet's rated operating capacity (ISO 14397-1).
- No official chart for that pair means 'ask': the tool never assumes compatibility.
- One-tap fix: the smallest machine (by operating weight) in the chosen country that runs it as is; if none, the smallest with high flow.
- On a mini excavator the arm's coupler also rules (pin-on, Klac or German system): the attachment is ordered with the part for your system, and that part exists or not for each machine. If Bobcat approves it with another coupler, it tells you which.
Where each number comes from
- Which attachment fits which model (13 of the 30 in the catalog, and the 103 on request).Source: Bobcat's official compatibility charts. In the catalog, only where it's the same attachment (same model, or same size and weight); the rest shows 'ask' and offers another size in the same family that has a chart. On-request items are Bobcat sizes and families that aren't in the local catalog, each with its own chart.

The S16, S18, S570 and T870 aren't in Bobcat's official chart.

The E20z, E26, E27, E27z, E35z, E50z and E55z are in the chart; other models show 'ask'.
FAQ
What is high flow on a skid steer?
A machine option that raises the auxiliary hydraulic flow to run attachments with big motors: planers, chippers, large chain trenchers. On the S630 it goes from 87.1 to 115.5 L/min. The spec sheet marks it 'optional': it's ordered with the machine.
Does the attachment count against rated capacity?
Yes. Rated operating capacity is what the machine lifts safely, and the attachment is part of the load: forks with a pallet add up both weights.
Is comparing my machine's flow with the attachment's enough?
No. Bobcat approves the HB980 breaker on the S770 even though it delivers 87.1 L/min and the breaker needs 40–75 L/min; and some attachments fit by flow but aren't approved for size, mounting or stability. That's why the compatibility chart rules.
Why do some attachments say 'ask'?
Because there's no official chart for that pair: the attachment has no exact match in Bobcat's official charts (sweepers, grapples, nitrogen breakers) or the machine is a model that chart doesn't include (S16, S18, S570, T870). The tool doesn't assume it: your sales rep confirms it. If the same family has another size with a chart, it shows it alongside, as another size and not as the same attachment.
What does 'on request' mean?
That it isn't in the local catalog: it's a Bobcat attachment size or family (augers, stump grinders, rollers, wheel saws, other sweeper and bucket sizes) ordered from Bobcat. There are 103, each with its official chart. Your sales rep confirms what's available for immediate delivery.
Do these attachments fit a mini excavator?
Not as they are: all 30 use the skid-steer Bob-Tach plate. A mini excavator has its own attachments and its own matrix: pick 'Mini excavator' at the top of the tool. There your coupler counts too: the 35PH high torque auger fits the E35z with the German system adapter, but not with the pin-on or Klac one, because Bobcat doesn't make that part in that size.
