Where's the part number?

Short answer

On the old part, its box or the previous invoice. If you can't find it, that's fine: send us a WhatsApp photo of the part and of the machine's data plate (model and serial) and we'll identify it.

Where to look

  • On the old part

Clean it and look on the part or its label, box or packaging. If it's worn off or unreadable, don't guess: send us a photo.

  • On the previous invoice or quote

If you've bought that part before, the number is on the invoice or the quote. Ask whoever made the purchase.

  • On the machine's data plate

It's not the part number: it shows the machine's model and serial, and with that we identify the exact part. The Operation and Maintenance Manual shows where the plate is.

By brand

Only what each brand's official material says. None of these sources shows where the plate or the number sits on each part: for that, send the photo.

Komatsu

On our pages Komatsu numbers carry dashes, like 600-185-4100. The search doesn't mind: with or without dashes it finds the same part.

KPRIME tips: how to read the number

A KPRIME tip number is the series (P + equipment class) plus the style. Example: P200PC = P200 series, chisel point. Not every style exists in every series.

Bobcat

The Bobcat numbers on our pages are codes like 6680018 or 6702903P. The machine's serial matters: the official catalog lists, for example, seats by model and by serial number range (serials like 499611001 or A01L11000).

Wacker Neuson, Hensley, BOMAG and other brands

We don't have official material from these brands showing where the number is. Check the old part and the previous invoice; if it's not there, send us a photo of the part and of the data plate on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find a part's part number?

Look on the old part, on its box or packaging, or on the invoice or quote from the last time you bought it. If you can't find it or it's unreadable, send us a WhatsApp photo of the part and of the machine's data plate and we'll identify it.

Why do you ask for the machine's serial number?

Because within the same model the part can change by serial number. Bobcat's official catalog, for example, lists seats by model and by serial number range. With the serial we quote the exact part the first time.

Where is my machine's data plate?

It's the plate fixed to the machine that shows the model and serial. Where it sits depends on the brand and model: your machine's Operation and Maintenance Manual shows it. If you can't find it, send us a photo of the machine on WhatsApp and we'll help.

Can I order a part without the part number?

Yes. Tell us the machine's brand, model and serial and which part it is, with a photo if you can. Your country's specialist identifies it and sends a quote.
