Waste does not push like dirt
Landfill dozer
“Our landfill dozer falls apart within months”
The Komatsu D61EX-23M0 in landfill configuration is a factory arrangement for the waste cell, where a standard dozer wears out in months: waste wraps around the undercarriage, cuts hoses, scores cylinder rods and gets into every gap. This configuration carries a higher-capacity blade that shields the front of the machine without blocking the operator's view, centre-hole track shoes that keep material from packing, front and rear cleaning bars, guards on rods, hoses, fittings and final drives, reinforced belly plates and sealed covers. The hydrostatic transmission gives it the fine, steady push that spreading and compacting in layers calls for.

Where it is used
The jobs it solves
- Municipal landfills
- Spreading and compacting waste in the cell
- Daily cover with borrow material
- Transfer stations and composting plants
It is built for light material such as solid waste. If the same machine will push heavy soil for cover, it is also sized against that material. And in a landfill maintenance changes: daily washing and frequent checks of the undercarriage and the radiator, which clogs with plastic and paper.
It arrives as one machine, with one point of responsibility
A single point of responsibility
The base machine, the special configuration and the commissioning arrive as one machine delivered by the group. No finger-pointing between suppliers when something fails.
Local support for the base machine
It is a Komatsu: parts, workshop and certified technicians in El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama, with the same KOMTRAX telematics as the rest of the fleet.
Sized against the project
Reach, depth and soil type govern, not a catalog. It is defined in a technical visit and quoted against the real job, not against a list of options.

The machine that doesn't move
Tell us the job, not the machine
What has to be moved, at what depth, over what ground and for how long. With that we define the base machine and the configuration, and the proposal comes back against the real job.
